My Weekly Notebook: S/S 2015 Trends: Hair Styling

It's official. Crimping is cool again. Well – if you do it a la Stella McCartney. Stylist supremo Eugene Souleiman gave the top layer of models' hair texture by crimping a few random sections and smoothing them into a low ponytail. Chucked out your crimper in 1999? Achieve by clamping skinny plaits tightly with your straighteners, going up and down a few times, then unravel them to reveal crimps.

Sleek ponytails featured double elastic to create architectural shapes (the handiwork of Moroccanoil's Artistic Director) which complemented the exaggerated wings of dense black eyeliner perfectly.

Aveda Guest Artist, Jon Reyman described the hair at Ann Yee as "a sleek style that morphs into a rhythm of waves". We LOVE. Similar wavy ponytails were paraded at the Rolando Santana show, proving that duel texture hair is trending for SS/15.
