One City, One Girl: Lizzy Plapinger for Stella McCartney

To celebrate the Autumn Winter 2014 collection, Stella McCartney is continuing her signature One City, One Girl series, but this time the video stars the talented new musician Lizzy Plapinger, one-half of vocal duo MS MR, who lends her eclectic style to the Stella brand.

Shot by Sean Thomas, the video sees a spirited Lizzy exploring the sights of New York clad in the new season collection. There's no one better to pull of that zip-embellished coat and the gorgeous fringed dress, while treating us to a masterclass in how to wear those platform star shoes.

Plapinger says the star shoes are like a David Bowie-inspired “cheeky spin on glam rock style.” She also noted that the fringe mini is the perfect performance dress because it “accentuates movement and is extremely elegant.”
